Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper at Servpro Team Friermuth, you will play a crucial role in maintaining financial records, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the financial health of our company. If you have experience in bookkeeping and a strong commitment to accuracy and professionalism, we invite you to become a valuable part of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial transactions are recorded correctly.
Process payroll and employee expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets. Perform financial analysis to support decision-making.
Monitor and maintain inventory, fixed assets, and business resume.
Manage vendors, resources, and subcontractors for financial transactions.
Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Support financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
Handle inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar financial role.
Proficiency in accounting software, including 2 years of QuickBooks Online experience.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance.
Effective communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).
Familiarity with the restoration and construction industry is a plus.
Ability to successfully complete a Servpro required background check and drug screen subject to applicable law.
