IT Director

Set Solutions, a Trace3 Company is working with a client exclusively searching for an IT Director with a strong background in infrastructure and cloud transformation.

Position Summary: The IT Infrastructure Director will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud-based systems. This role involves strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of infrastructure projects to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud technologies, IT infrastructure management, and a strong background in leading technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.

Cloud Management:

• Lead the migration and management of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance.
• Ensure robust cloud security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, and cloud specialists.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.

Strategic Planning:

• Develop and execute the IT infrastructure strategy aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve business operations.
• Prepare and manage the IT infrastructure budget.

Project Management:

• Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business needs.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

Vendor Management:

• Negotiate and manage contracts with infrastructure and cloud service providers.
• Monitor vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met.
• Evaluate and select new vendors as needed.

Security and Compliance:

• Ensure IT infrastructure and cloud environments comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Implement robust security measures to protect company data and assets.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of network architecture, server management, and storage solutions.
• Proven experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent strategic planning and project management skills.
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Pay: $165,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
