We are currently looking for a hardworking and motivated individuals to join our restaurant teams at Ledges Hotel, The Settlers Inn, and The Dock on Wallenpaupack. The Line Cook prepares food that meets current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations by following established policies and procedures and ensures that safe and high-quality food service is provided at all times. The Line Cook prepares all items needed for service, from chopping vegetables to making sauces and butchering meat, and may be asked to prepare items for another station or special event.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma and one-year prior experience in a food service setting. Additional culinary training/coursework highly desired. He or she must be committed to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual. Effective oral and written skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
