Job Title: MedSurg Registered Nurse

Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care needs of patients within the MedSurg unit.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by attending physicians.
- Monitor vital signs, progress, and recovery of patients.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Support and educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and medications.
- Ensure compliance with established protocols, policies, and procedures.
- Document accurate and complete medical records concerning patient care.
- Uphold strict infection control standards to maintain a safe and clean environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a MedSurg nurse.
- BSN degree or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients and their families.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems preferred.
