Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation
Location: Rochester, NY
Rate: $2,400 Weekly
Shift: 36hrs - 3x12hrs - Nights
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional care to patients in our rehabilitation facility in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping patients achieve their maximum level of independence and functioning.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Monitoring and managing patient progress, including rehabilitation therapies, medication administration, and response to treatment.
- Providing patient and family education regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic medical records.
- Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards.
- Advocating for patients' needs and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to enhance nursing practice and patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Valid RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a rehabilitation or similar healthcare setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records/documentation systems.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
