Program Manager

Position Summary:
 

• Manage all the contractor teams assisting with the review of proposals for a major Government Wide Acquisition Contract including current team members.
• Perform all program management functions including ensuring all timelines are met, all documents are tracked
• Overseeing the responsibility of staff to complete and file all required documents
• Assist with the development of an electronic filing system that complies with the Federal Acquisition Regulations and the agency acquisition supplement.
• Brief the contracting officer and agency management officials at least once a week and more often as required based on operational tempo and decisions being made by the client.  These briefings may be both in person (verbal) and/or in writing

Responsibilities:
 

• Provide overall direction and guidance for all aspects of the program
• Coordinate, integrate, lead and directly control the efforts associated with the program
• Apply a high degree of managerial and technical knowledge as well as a thorough knowledge of functional activities required for effective management of the program
• Analyze situations to recognize the resulting impact in terms of schedule, costs and risks involved and recommending the trade offs to consider to mitigate the impacts

Qualifications:

• Certification by either PMI, FAI or DAWIA at either Level II or III
• BA/BS from an accredited educational institution
• A minimum of 7 years of experience as a Program Manager
