Work with the individuals we serve and staff to observe, identify, analyze, and document a range of behavior challenges.
Conduct functional behavioral assessments.
Develop and implement behavioral analysis service plans.
Create individualized treatment plans to help each individual we serve improve.
Use training and creativity to explore ways to handle challenging problems for our individuals in home settings, workplaces, and the community.
Train team members to reinforce implementation of behavioral plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree: A Bachelor’s degree in a field related to behavioral or ABA is required. This may include disciplines such as mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, or occupational therapy.
Supervised clinical experience of Coursework: Candidates should have completed at least 1,000 hours of supervised clinical experience or the equivalent in documented coursework.
This experience of coursework should be directly related to:
ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) Diagnostics
Developmental and Behavioral treatment strategies
Mental Health
BCABA Certification (Preferred): While not mandatory, certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is preferred. Candidates “actively” working toward BCaBA certification with documented fieldwork supervision will also be considered.
Additional Requirements:
Minimum one year experience working with special populations, including crisis prevention, staff training, and development
Valid driver’s license, Current registration, and insurance
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
A compassionate and reliable attitude with a commitment to quality
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of behavior principles, program development, and monitoring techniques.
Strong customer service orientation and patience
Collaborative and creative approach to employee training.
These qualifications ensure that the candidates possess the foundational knowledge and practical experience necessary to excel in the role of Behavior Analyst and provide effective support to individuals with behavioral challenges and developmental disorders.
