What are the responsibilities and job description for the PHOTO INTERPRETER position at Sewall?

Headquartered in Bangor with offices in Portland, ME, Caribou, ME, and Portsmouth, NH, we provide
professional services to a wide variety of private- and public-sector clients throughout the United States.
Currently we have an opening for a Photo Interpreter in our forestry group. This is an opportunity for the right
candidate to be a part of a dynamic, high performing team with a reputation for knowledgeable, quality
service and long-term client relationships.
Preferred skills and experience include:
- Associates degree or higher in forestry, natural resources, environmental sciences, or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in forest inventory or other similar fieldwork
- Knowledge of tree identification and the Acadian forest types
- Working experience with ArcGIS or other GIS software
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a production environment
- Must have vision ability to work with various formats of data, including differentiating color and seeing
in stereo
