Role and Responsibilities: The Field Compensation Analyst assists in the maintenance and administration of the SFB agency system. They provide knowledge and support to the sales force on questions or issues related to production credit, incentives, internal replacement activity, persistency and compensation. The Field Compensation Analyst works closely with the state offices to monitor and verify changes to the internal agency systems and web applications. The analyst works on special projects assigned by the Field Compensation Manager.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide support to the agency force and agency management for questions related to production credit, incentives, tax forms, commissions, persistency, internal replacement, and agent website.
- Work with senior department members to develop general knowledge of contest and incentive rules and requirements on the SFB agency system.
- Develop functional understanding of SFB internal replacement rules and guidelines.
- Use critical thinking related to SFB processes in order to solve problems.
- Work closely with state offices to set up and maintain updates for all agents on the SFB agency system.
- Set up and maintain loans on the SFB agency system.
- Update production credit adjustments on the SFB agency system as needed.
- Process changes to servicing agent of record for policies in the SFB policy administration system.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a Business/Marketing or related field; or a combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of the Farm Bureau organization and Southern Farm Bureau Life preferred
- Basic knowledge of the life insurance industry preferred.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Energetic and positive attitude, willingness to learn new things, and passionate about helping others
- Ability to maintain professionalism in stressful and/or adverse circumstances
