SGA Lists is a premier hospitality company looking to add food service workers to our staff. We are looking for people to start in mid-August at local facilities and colleges.
Many shifts are available. Days, Nights, and weekends will be available.
Job Summary : Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen work areas, ensuring equipment and utensils are clean and orderly.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Sweep and mop floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
- Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces.
- Dispose of trash and clean garbage cans.
- Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
- Assist with setting up banquet tables and front of the house.
- Help with loading, unloading, and delivering supplies.
- Distribute supplies, utensils, and equipment as needed.
- Adhere to sanitation and safety guidelines.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is advantageous but not always required; training is often provided.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Strong customer service skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
Physical Requirements :
- The ability to stand for extended periods.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of trays, dishes, and supplies.
- Walking, bending, and reaching to serve customers and maintain the service area.
