Job Description
The Supervisor, Production will coordinate and support the execution of production activities, including a safe, controlled work environment in all areas of responsibility, be aware of the site safety objectives, and ensure they are communicated and understood by all staff. The Production Supervisor will be the Point of Contact for the assigned GMP production processes. They will provide in-suite oversight of the production process during critical operations. Provide/Arrange practical training for manufacturing staff related to new equipment or systems. Collaborate with the Leadership team to incorporate process and operational improvements into new customer processes in production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine equipment and materials the suite will need to purchase in order to run the process.
- Understand the needs of processing activities and communicate those needs to production operators on the production floor. To include pilot runs through GMP manufacturing
- Facilitate the setup and execution of manufacturing procedures to comply with quality systems
- Develop the production team to meet the business needs and personal career goals
- Support the on-time in full delivery of development, clinical & commercial material as required
- Support and ensure execution of EHS, Training, Gowning, Material, production, Visual Inspection, qualifications, Cleaning, and Scheduling strategies
- Ensure completed administrative duties as required
- Initiate and support deviation activities as needed
- Maintain the production areas from a cleanliness and 6S standpoint
- Coordination with cross-functional teams to execute process activities
- Work with management to identify resources necessary to execute processes from initiating technology transfer through commercial production
- Provide operational input into equipment and material requirements, process execution and optimization, and methods transfer
- Create, review, and approve documents and procedures
- Understand and help execute the timely delivery of milestones
- Coordination of production qualification activities
- Attend training activities on new processes to gain familiarity and develop training plans
- Supervises others
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5 years of relevant experience in GMP production
- 1 years of experience as a Lead or Supervisor in a GMP manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of the Quality systems
