POSITION SUMMARY: The Finance Associate performs a variety of accounting, financial and office management duties that support the Finance and Administration Departments.

Required Education and Training / Knowledge and Skills:

· Associate degree in accounting, business, finance, or office administration or a related field

· Experience with eCW, Fund-EZ and Paychex, a plus

· Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

· Working knowledge of basic accounting principles, (GAAP), and functions

· Knowledge of Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”) software – eCW, a plus

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Essential Duties:

1. Process biweekly payroll using Paychex Payroll, and Time & Attendance modules.

2. Manage Accounts Payable data entry and check preparation.

3. Prepare and make bank deposits.

4. Participate in and prepare for annual audits.

5. Assist Controller and Chief Financial Officer in grants management compliance.

6. Help oversee inventory control of ordering of supplies.

7. File and retrieve documents and reference materials as needed to complete reports.

8. Process monthly reports from Accounting Software and Electronic Health Record systems.

9. Provide additional support to the Staff Accountant and Billing/Accounts Receivable Supervisor, as required.

10. Assist with month-end closeout duties, as requested by Supervisor.
