Function:
Quality Assurance Liaisons are responsible for assuring that the support services provided by Shangri-La are
person-centered, effective, documented following Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) contractual obligations,
and are in line with Shangri-La's policies, practices, and procedures. Reliable and regular attendance is
imperative.
Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent, with at least 1 year experience in providing training or supports to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities seeking employment and/or job skills training.
Preference given to those with experience providing job coaching assistance and knowledge of local public transportation systems.
Requirements:
Flexible hours and on-call availability, may require some weekends and evenings, dependent upon the supported individual’s schedule.
Oregon Drivers License and Acceptable Driving Record
Must have the ability to get to work sites in a timely manner.
Willingness to work outside one’s own comfort level.
Effective role modeling including appropriate dress, communication and work behaviors for the job being supported.
Ability to establish relationships with the employee to become familiar with learning styles.
