Custodian

Shared Services Group is a dedicated team of financial, technical, and sourcing professionals who provide comprehensive accounting and financial management and Primary Resource support to organizations. With our expertise and specialized knowledge, we streamline and centralize accounting and Primary Resource functions across multiple departments or business units within an organization.

SSG is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Custodian to join our facilities team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees, visitors, and customers.

Resonsibilities:

• Clean and maintain all areas of the facility, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Perform industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors.
• Ensure all areas of the facility are tidy and organized while reporting any damage or maintenance issues to department supervisor/manager.
• Maintain the appearance of the facility by dusting, polishing, and painting as needed.
• Perform porter duties, including taking out the trash and recycling.
• Respond to cleaning and maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing of task and responsibilites.
• Physical strength and stamina while performing specific job duties as needed.
• Provide support for events, specail program coordination and execution.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organization of task with time management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in custodial work or a related field.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move equipment as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Familiarity with floor care and buffing techniques.
• Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and work well with others.
• Valid driver's licenses.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
