This Medical Biller is responsible for ensuring the highest quality billing, coding and charge management services for our group of practices. The Medical Billing Specialist must have a high degree of organizational skills to manage interactions with a wide variety of insurance company and their requirements. He / she must also have an exemplary customer service acumen in communicating and managing the billing life-cycle for our valued patients.

Responsibilities
- Post all charges for all physicians assigned to specific locations
- Assist with posting charges for other physicians assigned to specific locations
- Share surgery charge entry posting for all physicians
- Assist patients with billing questions
- Answer both in bound and out bound (internal and external) calls
- Make sure someone is crossed trained on all aspects of the above job to cover for vacations
- Responsible for maintaining work area in a neat and clean manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or higher education required.
- Posting payments in a medical setting preferred.
- Key Medical Practice Management, EMA Electronic Health Records, Microsoft Office skills preferred.
- Knowledge of electronic equipment, fax, copier, printer, scanner, mail meter, computer, hardware and software, including applications and required programs preferred
