Role Summary
Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) has been hired by Progressive Turnout Project to help turn out Democratic voters in [STATE]. RFS is seeking to contract with enthusiastic Door Knockers this election season to help get out the vote–no experience necessary! This innovative program is being managed remotely–Door Knockers will complete all aspects of their contracting and briefing virtually, and will receive necessary supplies in the mail. This allows Door Knockers the flexibility to perform the aspects of their contracts when and where they choose, and to work around any other personal or professional commitments. There’s no need to travel to an office for an interview or briefing - it can all be done from home!
Remote Door Knockers will be paid $125 for each completed door knocking packet, which can be done in your own community and on your own schedule. Individuals who successfully complete their first door knocking packet will be offered opportunities for additional contracts. Door Knockers can expect a total commitment of 3 to 5 hours to complete their briefing and door-to-door Door Knocking. They will be able to choose their own turf in or around their home or community, so travel will be minimal.
Door Knocking will begin in early August and last through November 5th. Door Knockers will be able to set their own schedules and working hours.

- Complete an online briefing that will provide an overview of your contract responsibilities.
- Travel door-to-door in your community or in a surrounding region–you’ll be provided with a list of voters and a script.
- Typical Door Knocking turf will take between 3-5 hours to complete, and can be done all at once or over multiple periods of time.
- Enter data from all conversations with voters into an app on your phone.
- Comfortable with talking to individuals you may not know about progressive politics and the importance of voting.
- Must have the physical stamina to stand/walk for extended periods (packets can take several hours to complete) while meeting and talking to people.
- Ability to memorize and recite a brief Door Knocking script and/or talking points.
- Understand how to enter basic data on a cell phone.
