Sr. Human Resources Generalist
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Shearer's Foods in Bluffton, Indiana. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for supporting daily operations, driving an engaged culture, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and benefits administration.
- Drive an engaged culture through positive interactions with our hourly workforce.
- Be the go-to expert for company policies and practices.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to manage headcount and support business needs.
- Develop and lead effective new hire onboarding and training programs.
- Champion our Retention, Rewards, and Recognition Employee Involvement Teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including FMLA, ADA, and FLSA.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent work experience.
- SHRM or HRCI certifications a plus.
- At least 2 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to lead with empathy and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
