Description
Alaska Northstar Resources (ANR) is currently searching for an Automation Test Engineer to join our team supporting the Army Selection Board System (ASBS) maintenance and new development. This is a remote role and is responsible for the development and implementation for updates to existing software. This position requires an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
Test automation engineers' duties include, but are not limited to:
- Designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems.
- To be successful as a test automation engineer, you should be exceptionally accurate and possess a superior mathematical aptitude.
- You will be committed to developing skills in order to provide up-to-date solutions.
- Ultimately, a top-notch test automation engineer will be proficient in programming languages and have excellent time management skills.
Requirements
Basic Candidate Requirements
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Candidate must have a DoD Secret Clearance
Candidate must have an Active CompTIA Security or other applicable 8570 IAT Level II certification
Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study
Candidate must have 3 years' experience with the following:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript and Java
- Automated testing tools such as JEST, Load Runner etc.
- Working within multiple teams.
- Amazon Web Services and JBOSS.
- Working in an Agile Environment.
Desired Skills, Abilities, And Knowledge
- Prior knowledge of Military processes and procedures is welcomed.
