Duties:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Process customer transactions accurately using a point-of-sale (POS) system
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payment transactions
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balances and reconcile discrepancies
- Assist customers with product inquiries and provide recommendations
- Upsell additional products or services to enhance the customer experience
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and stocked
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus
- Experience in electronics sales is a bonus
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and basic math skills
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
