Job Summary:
Project Manager ensures the timely, safe and cost effective management of departmental projects. Project manage contractors, employees, vendors, third parties and other internal departments to achieve stated goals. Additionally, the candidate must be competent at the full scope of project management duties associated with the departmental goals. Successful candidates must be able to manage in a team environment, working within the organization and cross departmentally. This position will continually reevaluate and improve processes in order to increase efficiency.
Qualifications:
a. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, technology, or business management discipline is preferred. Other candidates with a High School Diploma or equivalent with a strong technical background and substantial industry or military experience will be considered.
b. Experience level:
0-2 years of telecommunications experience required.
2-3 years of project management experience required.
2-3 years of budgeting and financial analysis preferred.
c. Job Skills and Certifications
Budgeting and financial analysis
Preferred PMP, CAPM, BICSI, or similar certifications
Proactive Task Management
Detail oriented and organizational skills
Demonstrated problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft office suite of products.
Preferred experience with Adobe Acrobat, Sitetracker, Smartsheet, Microsoft Visio and AX and/or Oracle
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
