Shephard's Beach Resort, on beautiful Clearwater Beach, is now hiring Security Staff.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Creating a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Securing resort property.
  • Overseeing your designated station and/or patrolling all areas of the property while abiding by company policies and procedures.
  • Welcoming and acknowledging guests and assisting them with their needs.
  • Assisting guests, employees and managers during emergency situations.
  • Reporting accidents/incidents to management.
  • Successfully overseeing a large volume of business while professionally handling any situation that may arise.
  • Setting up and breaking down of banquet/special event areas.

Applicants must be 21 years of age, have a clean background, maintain a professional appearance and also maintain a professional attitude towards all guests and other staff. We are a high energy, fast paced environment that deals with a large volume of guests on a weekly basis so if you are looking for a small bar atmosphere, we are NOT it. Experience with ID's is a plus but not necessary, we are willing to train.

Open availability is required, weekends and holidays are mandatory. Holidays include but are not limited to: Memorial Day weekend, July 4th weekend, Labor Day weekend and New Year's Eve.

Physical Requirements include: long hours on your feet, frequent walking and standing, carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 50lbs unassisted and exposure to outdoor elements.
