- Seeks assistance on priorities for scheduling work, organizes work efficiently.
- Verbally communicates routine information to supervisor and others in platform.
- Is receptive and attentive to instructions, with progress and results checked regularly by others
- Works cooperatively with other technicians in platform to effectively and reliably carry out assigned tasks.
- Independently performs basic color evaluation tasks as outlined by supervisor or others.
- Operates basic equipment like e.g. stirrers, mixers, scales, spectrophotometers, light booths etc.
- Uses computing tools to capture and record data.
- Takes responsibility for ensuring safe operating procedures.
- Possesses a strong sense of precision and attention to detail
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment (without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment work visa and/or permanent residence status).
- Minimum of HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years of color development experience
- General color lab equipment operations (scale, stirrer, mixer, spray guns, fume hoods)
- Knowledge of mathematical methods to calculate / re-balance color formulas
- Additional 2 semesters of General Chemistry and 2 semesters of Organic Chemistry
- Up to 2 years’ experience with color development
- Basic understanding of pigment / colorant functionality in coatings products
- Lab scale operation of mixing equipment
- Color testing of low complexity (light booths, visual assessment)
- Basic understanding of pigment / color relationships and measuring techniques
Travel Requirements: 10%
