What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Beertender position at Shezmu Cellars?
About us
Shezmu Cellars Winery & Taproom is an urban winery producing local honey-wines (mead) while also pouring craft beer. Shezmu Cellars believes mead doesn’t have to be a sweet dessert wine and focuses on producing sessionable dry meads served carbonated, nitrogenated, and still. Voted Best Winery in Georgia in 2020 and 2021 by the Georgia Business Journal, the Blue Ridge winery recently opened in downtown alongside its sister company, Axe Throwing Therapy.
Shezmu Cellars is expanding our Tasting Room & Events team with another Intoxicologist! We are looking for one individual who has experience in the service industry and a passion for craft beer/wine. If you are a people person with a good work ethic and desire to grow... you may be a fit for our awesome team ;)
The Intoxicologists are responsible for ensuring an excellent customer experience during all daily operations as well as tastings, themed parties, and private events hosted at the Shezmu Cellars Winery. Winery tasting room hours are an important part of how Shezmu Cellars engages with consumers and showcases our brand and products. As such, Intoxicologists play an integral role in the success of Shezmu Cellars. This is a unique role as at the Blue Ridge location employees also work as Axe Therapists and host our axe throwing lanes.
