Our Front Office Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Front Office Management team in the management of the Front Office Department.
In this position you will be responsible for managing and providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout the duration of their stay. As a member of the management team, you will be expected to lead by example and assist in guiding your team into achieving outstanding service and performance goals, while motivating everyone on your team to work proactively and ensure the success of the property.
We are seeking individuals with an outgoing and upbeat personality.
Key Responsibilities
Staff
- Supervise Front Office agents/bellman/PBX
- Supervise of Front Desk staff schedules
- Supervise Front Office daily duties and training
- Supervise all Front Office staff corrective and disciplinary actions
- Supervise Front Office standards according to hotel standard operating procedures and culture
- Supervise all Front Office department morale
- Assist with new employee onboarding procedure
Sales and Reservations
- Assist in Managing daily room allocations along with Front Office Director/ sales/housekeeping
- Management of special requests with housekeeping/sales
- Monitor all V.I.P guests and requests.
Front Office Department
- Supervise and maintain all Front Office standard and procedures
- Monitor inventory of Front Office department supplies
- Awareness of Front Office budget
- Manage all Front Office systems while on shift
- Assist in Managing all daily arrivals and departures in coordination with Front Office Director/ sales/reservations and housekeeping
- Manage correspondence and handling of guest complaints
- Maintain guest satisfaction in accordance to hotel standard
- Manage All guest registration card information/Bucket check while on shift
- Management of daily departmental pass-on while on shift
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information
- To maintain a good rapport and working relationship with all staff
- Deal effectively with people, creating teamwork, motivating and using an uplifting and lead-by-example leadership approach
- Produce and manage departmental sops

- Prior experience in boutique hotels
- Prior experience with hotel PMS systems especially INFOR HMS
- Understanding of fashion brands
- Experience in personalized customer service
- Familiar with boutique hotel culture and structure
- Good knowledge of Detroit
