Program Manager:
This is a very exciting opportunity to join the Account team! We are looking for a Digital Program Manager in our HQ (Birmingham) office to support an OEM account. This person will work to service the client in terms of overall program success, project management, reporting requests, data analysis, and identifying opportunities to optimize websites and products specific to digital retailing. The Program Manager will develop, maintain and own the roadmap and project plans, client's requirements gathering, ad-hoc reporting requests and new feature/functionality development for their assigned projects and programs.
The Program Manager will serve as a liaison between the client (business and technology teams, internal teams within Shift Digital and external vendors to ensure the best possible value is delivered to the client. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Own projects from beginning to final delivery to client across all lines of business
- Responsible for overall program oversight and accountable for program health
- Program Awareness and Communication: Communicate all program details, changes and actions required to participating digital retailing vendors, client and regional teams
- Program Growth: Drive program growth through addition of new providers, increasing enrollment numbers, increasing average spend per dealer, adding certified products/services
- Reporting and Analytics: Manage the program performance through use of analytics and reporting tools and provide client key insights on performance of content
- Vendor Integration and Management: Manage vendors to ensure they are meeting program benchmarks, adhering to brand and program standards and are providing all program required reporting
- Account Planning: Map quarterly goals to track key initiatives and ensure program goals are being met
- Surface and escalate risks to delivery manager, project teams and clients; identify and provide clear steps for mitigation
- This is a client facing role which requires a polished and professional demeanor and the ability to lead meetings and present to teams/groups
- A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies, including experience as a Project Manager or similar role managing complex projects in a high-tech development environment with cross functional teams
- Solid understanding and application of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, including requirements definition, UI/UX design, system design, development and deployment for all projects
- Experience with vendor management, including RFPs, contract management, negotiations, and deliverable management
Knowledge & Required Skills:
- Project management skills necessary to manage various and numerous projects while tracking costs against budgets and time to completion
- Understanding of the digital space, associated analytics, and delivery of technology solutions
- Detailed & functional expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to actively promote a cooperative team environment
- Comfortable speaking with/in front of Client and Regional Reps
- A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using Agile methodologies
- Desire to own success of projects
- Strong interpersonal and proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and quickly adapt to changes in priorities
- Detail oriented and self-motivated
- Strong analytical and data skills a plus
- College degree is a requirement
- 4 years of experience in Digital Marketing is required, automotive experience is a plus
- Ability to be in office a minimum of 2 days per week (flexible)
