POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE : MDU Coordinator
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Position Reports To : Director of Commercial Operations
ROLE
Through a respectful, collaborative, and energetic style, guided by the objectives of the company, the MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) Coordinator will be responsible for increasing the number of active subscribers and product penetration in multi-dwelling properties / communities by managing the MDU process end to end.
The MDU Coordinator will represent the company and work with the management team as well as internal and external partners to develop and implement initiatives that increase company’s MDU saturation.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, tenacious, enthusiastic, and community-driven to take on this exciting role spearheading the success of Hoosier Networks Multi-Dwelling Unit goals.
This position requires someone equipped with a positive attitude and readiness to be a team player.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES :
- Collaborate with internal departments and partners to ensure timely, cost effective and efficient management of the MDU process from procurement to installation.
- Coordinate directly with Internet Service Provider(s) (ISPs) to update progress on properties and potential new opportunities.
- Call on and visits all new build MDU properties on regular and consistent basis prior to and following occupancy.
- Develop strong working relationships with property management and ownership of MDU properties and leverage their support though our ISP via events and marketing.
- Maintain a calendar of schedule and activities including construction, meetings, touchpoints, and ISP cross promotions.
- Responsible for aiding in securing long-term Right of Entry (ROE) Agreements to new and existing MDU Owners, Developers, Home Owner Associations, Management Companies, etc.
- Coordinate and liaise with ISPs and relevant point persons on outreach efforts.
- Coordinate with Digital Equity Manager on low-income properties and events.
- Own the MDU process and provide a single point of contact for our ISP partners as well as external partners.
- PREFERRED EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :
- Bachelor's degree in tele-communications, marketing, business, or related fields.
- Preferred experience of 3 years with working with Multi-Dwelling Units, Sales, Inside-wiring, project management and Relationship Management.
- Outstanding written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong acumen for public events.
- Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time.
