We are currently hiring experienced warehouse team members to join our team to help us pick, pack & ship orders in our 150,000 sq ft warehouse in our network in Pennsylvania. You'll be part of a team that helps ship over $5 billion of ecommerce orders a year.
Job Description
Responsible for overall facility including the following
- Assigns team members to activities, ensuring staff coverage meets customer demands and redeploying when necessary to support needs throughout the department
- Oversee the deployment of daily shipping plans to maximize our e-commerce order output
- Connects with the leadership team on a daily basis to understand any challenges they are facing, elevating issues when necessary; partners with upper management when formal disciplinary action is needed
- Provides open and timely feedback and performance coaching to members of the team, redirecting any problematic or ineffective behavior when necessary
- Encourages the team to share ideas and best practices for delivering outstanding customer service and accomplishing important support activities
- Provides recognition for accomplishing goals and demonstrating effective behaviors
- Maintains a focus on safety, security and shrink prevention by ensuring doors and gates are secured and monitored, signs of shoplifting and theft are reported appropriately, and that steps are taken on a daily basis to maintain inventory and shrink budget integrity
- Ensures all work areas are clean, well-organized, and representative of the company’s standards
- Anticipates and plans for high service times (times of the day, week, year, etc.) in advance in order to minimize the impact felt by the customer
Work Hours, Pay & Benefits
We are currently hiring this position for 2nd shift
- 2nd Shift operates from 2:00PM - 10:00PM Monday through Friday
Qualifications and Skills
- 3 years' experience in managing a team in a high paced environment; e-commerce experience a plus
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Excellent math and counting skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skill
- Proactively builds and maintains collaborative relationships with cross-functional partners.
- Forklift certified
- Able to lift 60 lbs on a regular basis without assistance
- Able to operate various pieces of equipment/technology (e.g. tablets, desktop computers, mobile scanners, pallet jacks, etc)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
