Rate: $14/hr.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
Requirements:
· College student with major in Business and/or Human Resources
· Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
· Committed to the values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation
· Proficient in computer technology including Microsoft Applications
· Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Responsibilities:
· Rotate through the Human Resource division of the Shipley Group – recruiting and hiring, development, benefits, compensation, and safety
· Become knowledgeable of each of these functions and understand the impact they have on the business
· Attend and participate in Human Resource training
· Develop HR metrics to improve organization
· Track and record details in Kronos HRIS
· Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and conducting orientation
· Prepare materials for orientation
· Maintain a high level of confidentiality
· Participate on Wellness Committee
· Develop and implement initiatives for the wellness program
· Conduct New Team Member Orientation
· Other duties as assigned by members of the Human Resources Department
