Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking an experienced candidate to oversee the installation of our Home Services equipment, manage installation crew members, ensure quality of work, and promote our products and services to customers in and around Malvern, PA. The ideal candidate will have 5 years of installation experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to customer service. This person will work closely with members across all levels of the Home Services team to drive success and achieve company goals.
Starting at $60k - $70k based on experience
Responsibilities
- Oversee installation of Home Services equipment and installation crew members.
- Work with Home Services Project Manager to oversee quality of technicians work, and ensure adherence to schedule
- Ensure budgeted COGS and GP numbers are met
- Actively promote all Home Services products and services to customers.
- Work directly with Home Services General Manager, Home Services Project Manager, and Home Services Office Manager.
- Work with Home Services Project Manager and subcontractors to provide all in home services where deemed economically beneficial
- Audit truck stock inventory and revise standard stock inventory as needed
- Perform pre-installation and post-installation inspections as directed by the Home Services Project Manager.
- Actively promote safety in the workplace through effective and continuous communication
- Lead and advise installation technicians on technical problems
- Ensure compliance with all governmental licensing and permitting requirements
- Maintain a strong team through effective training, communications, and performance management
- Complete incident reports and investigations, ensuring timely completion of post-accident drug and alcohol testing
- Communicate with customers to resolve problems and concerns in a courteous, professional, and timely manner
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics utilizing Cargas and other technologies.
- Complete projects and other duties as assigned by the Home Services Project Manager.
Expected Results
- Achieve a minimum of 45% gross profit for Installations
- Maintain a minimum 60% gross profit on service work as performed by installation crews.
- Reduce the number of incidents to 0
- Hold the number of call backs to less than 3%
- Maintain designated billable utilization rate for all installation technicians.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent experience
- 5 Years Installation and HVAC operational experience
- Exemplifies and communicates values of initiative, responsibility, caring relationships, integrity, and innovation
- Basic understanding of computer technology to include email and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong sense of customer commitment
- Able to sit, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and reach
- Valid drivers license
- Willingness to respond to team member and customer incidents and emergencies
