Survey Cad Technician

Overview

Our company is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Survey Cad Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our survey team in preparing and producing accurate and reliable survey data and maps. As a Survey Cad Technician, you will play an integral role in ensuring that our projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

– Assist in the preparation of survey data and maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D software and Virtual Surveyor software.

– Collaborate with survey team to ensure accuracy and completeness of survey data.

– Create detailed drawings and maps for survey projects by using conventional survey data, UAV (drone) surveying data, and 3D Scanning Data.

– Conduct research and analysis of survey data.

– Maintain, organize, and manage survey data and files.

– Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies related to survey data.

Requirements:

– Associate or bachelor’s degree in surveying or a related field, preferred but not required.

– Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation, preferred but not required.

– Experience in surveying and mapping, preferred but not required.

– Knowledge of surveying principles and practices, preferred but not required.

– The ideal candidate is detailed oriented, organized, excels at multitasking, and meeting deadlines.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

– Willingness to work overtime as needed.
