Position Title: HR GeneralistReports to: Director of Human Resources
Position Summary: Maintain Human Resource's database, manage Time and Attendance (T&A).Provide administrative support to the Director of Human Resources.
DutiesHuman Resources Department
1. Maintain Access database for associate files2. Create and generate reports and forms as needed for Human Resources.3. Complete new hire files for Federal, State, DSI and Wakefern forms4. Maintain Disability / FMLA / Military Leave of Absence, including issue and tracking of FMLA5. Coordinate workflow of store new hires / terminations / transfers through Tomax process6. Coordinate workflow of Tomax process through PeopleSoft7. Coordinate workflow of PeopleSoft process through to store time and attendance system.8. Work with Dir. of H.R. to review and update all Company policies for print9. Work with Dir. of H.R. to review and update all Company job descriptions for print10. Work with Dir. of H.R. to review and update Associate Handbook and other Co. manuals11. Interpret contracts for Local 27 and Local 56 as needed for management or associates.12. Correspondence with Local 27, Local 56, miscellaneous companies and representatives.13. Complete employment verifications.
Training and Development
1. Define and audit training criteria for each department2. Research and recommend training methods and technology3. Participate in WFC committees for training and technology4. Implement and audit training throughout company
Experience and Skills Required:
1. Strong computer skills - hardware and software applications2. Excel in the use of the following software applications: MS Windows, MS Office includingAccess, Word, Publisher, Excel.3. Excel in the use of corporate software applications including Tomax, PeopleSoft, Impromptu, &Mainframe applications4. Strong word processing skills5. Ability to work without direct supervision6. Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with HR / associate related issues7. Strong communication skills8. Strong "People" skills9. Ability to organize and coordinate a variety of job functions10. Ability to work under pressure
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $43,351.00 - $79,204.00 per year
