Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join our Rehab team in our Galveston, Texas location.
The Physical Therapist provides evaluation and therapy services, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transition of care to Shriners Children's pediatric patients. In this position, you will have the unique opportunity to help our patient through their journey from the moment the child is brought through the door through the time the child leaves to go home. You'll get to help our kids grow into the new person that they want to be. You will provide evaluations and therapy services, education and training to meet the needs of our patients. The successful canddiate will get the opportunity to learn and grow in their practice by being exposed to burns, orthopaedic, acute care and outpatient settings.
Education
Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required. DPT preferred
Certification/Licensure
licensed in state of Texas
Skills
1 year physical therapy experience preferred
New graduates considered
Pediatric experience preferred
Salary
Salary for this position is dependent upon experience but ranges from $81,000 to $122,000 annually.
