Receptionist - Large Sarasota Law Firm
The Sarasota office of Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP is searching for an experienced receptionist. The ideal candidate will be friendly, highly organized, able to manage multiple phone lines and accurately input data into various computer programs, reliable, and will possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The person will greet guests, answer phones, know where to find answers for internal and external clients, provide assistance to staff and attorneys as needed, learn firm software and procedures, and work well as part of a team. In addition to reception duties, this position will be learning aspects of other administrative positions in order to provide assistance to the firm's legal administrative assistants.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image to the public.
- Must be able to manage multiple phone lines.
- Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and calendaring.
- Knowledge of legal terms a plus.
- Must be a pro-active problem solver with the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook.
- Ability to interact effectively with staff, clients, and vendors.
- Must be prompt, responsible, reliable, and maintain confidentiality.
