In your role as Global Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for the development, deployment, and execution of global marketing campaigns and programs targeting decision makers and users worldwide including consultants, systems integrators, and IT staff responsible for AV conferencing systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for supporting the team with the creation and implementation of B2B marketing programs.
Responsibilities
- Core member of the Global Systems Marketing team and assists senior team members in marketing operations and content marketing with the execution of global brand awareness and demand generation programs.
- Assists in the development of new marketing activities, marketing materials and sales tools for sales teams, channel partners and end-users.
- Create and maintain the marketing content calendar.
- Coordinate the marketing planning, budget monitoring and communication.
- Liaise with global and regional marketing and sales to ensure alignment, good communication and adoption of processes.
- Support communications projects in the areas of content creation, advertising, press relations, digital marketing and event marketing.
- Develop creative briefs for specific projects and interact with our internal creative teams as well as external vendors.
- Works with internal cross-functional teams such as Web, Social Media, Video, Public Relations, Artist Relations and others as needed to ensure coordination of efforts for assigned marketing initiatives.
- Actively seeks opportunities to further develop in-depth product and customer knowledge (including training, attending trade shows, visiting key customers, etc.).
- Ensures the faithful execution of the Shure Brand Guidelines in all communication materials.
- Has involvement in internal Global Marketing organizational initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience, including marketing and high-impact marketing communications
- Significant project management experience with the demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Experience managing day-to-day relationships with external marketing agencies
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead cooperative efforts and facilitate constructive discussion among a wide range of cross-functional partners
- Excellent proof reading skills with an eye for correct grammar and an ear for good copy
- Strong visual sense with the ability to evaluate photography graphic layouts for both style and impact
- Proficiency with computers and ability to efficiently work in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication in English. Ability to speak and write in secondary language (French/Spanish/German) desirable.
- Ability to travel internationally.
- Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Experience working virtually with remote teams.
