Title: EMR Application Specialist/Developer Location: Orlando

Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Interpret technical documentation requirements for EHR systems as it relates to “SMART” apps and FHIR based integrations.
- Interpret business rules and requirements for technical systems
- Work directly with internal and external customers to isolate and resolve defects or issues
- Leverage EMR integration methods for Smart on FHIR, Context Aware Linking development
- Develop expertise around various EMR integration methods including Private API, Public API, FHIR and XML/Document
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to EMR data integration
- Develop FHIR and Rest API integration/extraction and data mapping to support various use cases
- Develop SMART on FHIR apps
- Provider internal status updates to team lead
- Write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections

Requirements*
Qualifications
- Experience with SMART apps, FHIR, OAUTH 2.0, and EHR Integrations.
- 3 years’ experience in similar role
- .Net, .Net Core, C#, Rest API, MicroServices, Azure (or similar cloud platforms)
- Basic knowledge of EMR data standards, coding, schemes and ontologies
- Comprehensive understanding of HIPPA standards
- Ability to work closely with the other data teams (DBAs, Architects, Analyst, programmers)
- XML, Integrations Specialist, Integration Engineer, Software Integrations, SQL, Microsoft SQL Server
Preferred
- B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science or related discipline
- Extensive experience with EMR, EHR, and other clinical data that are fluent in healthcare IT standards
