Summary
The Client Audit Letter Coordinator (“Coordinator”) reports to the Client Audit Letter Manager. The incumbent will primarily assist with coordination of the Firm’s audit letter response process, including the preparation of audit letter responses. The Coordinator will work closely with the Client Audit Letter Manager, Office of General Counsel, Opinion Committee, Audit Letter Response Team Members, and Firm Partners to foster a high-performing and collaborative team. The Coordinator may also receive additional work assignments from the Office of General Counsel as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides dedicated support to the Firm’s audit letter response process, which includes creating and coordinating Firm responses to Auditors’ inquiries in accordance with Firm policy. Consults with Client Audit Letter Manager, Office of General Counsel, Opinion Committee members, and Firm Partners to troubleshoot compliance issues and risk management concerns related to audit responses.
- Assists with day-to-day operations of the Audit Letter Response Team. Assigns work to Audit Letter Response Team members with careful consideration to (i) team members’ availability and existing workloads; (ii) assignment difficulty; and (iii) differing time zones. Ensures adequate daily coverage and works with the Client Audit Letter Manager to evaluate unexpected issues and personnel gaps.
- Collaborates with IT to identify and resolve issues with SidFlow and any other systems used in the Firm’s audit letter response process.
- Assists with supervision of the audit letter workflow and helps ensure quality control of Firm audit responses.
- Assist with training of Audit Letter Response Team members, Opinion Committee members, and Firm lawyers. Coordinates answers to questions as needed.
- Provides mentorship to Audit Letter Response Team members on the audit letter response workflow. Operates as an expert in the in the SidFlow system and can troubleshoot issues and questions.
- Helps ensure that Audit Letter Response Team members provide excellent and expeditious client service to firm personnel requesting audit letter responses.
- Schedules meetings and trainings related to the Firm’s audit letter response process. Prepares notes, takes attendance, and responsible for recording meetings as needed.
- Identifies areas of inefficiencies and works with Client Audit Letter Manager to enhance and streamline Audit Letter Response Team operations.
- Collaborates with Office of General Counsel and outside departments on special projects, as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Washington D.C. Applicants: Salaries may vary by location. In Washington D.C., the estimated target salary range of this role is $82,000 - $90,000, in addition to bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefit package, including healthcare. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to, the relevant market and the skill, experience, class or graduation year, and education of the selected candidate.

Education and/or Experience:
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in audit letters or similar compliance/risk management role at a large law firm or similar professional services environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
