How You’ll Make an Impact
- Team Lead and Financial Partner for the Large Generator Product Line (New Unit & Service). Support and drive strategic business decisions (Asset strategy, make-buy analysis, etc.) by partnering with Generator technical leadership and providing excellent financial grounding to Large Generator location business objectives
- Full financial responsibility for the Large Generator manufacturing and service facility.
- Functional Responsibility for Productivity and Cost Out Management (mainly Large Generator product line) in following areas:
- Product cost calculation
- Transfer Pricing
- Cost Out Measures
- Base productivity OPW / JIRA MCP PPC, VAM Reporting
- Inventory Management and control
- Management of a team of professionals between 4-8 FTE
What You Bring
- BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance or related field required.
- 10 years of accounting/finance experience is required, preferably in the power industry.
- Expert financial, interpersonal, analytical and computer skills required. SAP, Excel, Alteryx experience preferred
- Must possess the ability and desire to plan, control, and contribute to solving complex problems
- Prior leadership managing direct reports preferred.
- Must have excellent verbal and written skills in English with the ability to interact appropriately with customers and all levels of management.
- Advanced knowledge about cost modelling and interdependencies to other functions (e.g. SCM, ENG,..)
- Relocation to Charlotte preferred. If not relocating, then approx. 50% travel to Charlotte is required.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
