The Siemens Industry, Inc. distribution center in Roebuck, SC is seeking a Switchboard Industrial Engineer (Manufacturing) for our Switchboard Product Line. Our facility has over 700 employees that produce high-quality, engineered, and make to order power distribution equipment. Responsibilities
As an SWBD Industrial (Manufacturing) Engineer, you will:
- · Identify safety / ergonomic concerns & implement solutions to eliminate or mitigate
- · Work in cross-functional teams on safety, quality, productivity, and other projects
- · Observe, analyze, & optimize current work methods / processes.
- · Identify bottle necks and improve process flow using line balancing.
- · Set time standards based on time studies, MTM analysis
- · Utilize data to develop cost and time saving recommendations and modifications to product design, line staffing, and assembly layout.
- · Execute Capital projects as required for larger scale projects
- · Develop standard work instructions to be used as training guidelines for new employees.
- · Communicate methods and results to management and associates.
- · Perform other related tasks as assigned.
You will have impact if you have the following minimum qualifications:
- · Bachelor’s Degree or greater in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
- · Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably with ETO product, wiring, assembly)
- · Experience in creating work instructions / standard work procedures.
- · Able to interpret or learn to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- · Strong oral, written communication, and time management skills
- · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio
- · CAD experience (AutoCAD preferred).
- · Lean Manufacturing experience a plus
- · SAP (or other ERP) experience a plus

The pay for this position is $71,300 - $122,300 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
