Overview
- Working alongside the PMO lead, to interface across the SHERPA X business transformation program & SW Operations strategic project initiatives.
- Connecting, communicating & influencing across wide stakeholder network of end-to-end Value & Process functions, SW at Siemens and non-SW partnering.
- Enabling the change, with cohesive and constructive ‘join the dots’ agile strategy, smart critical path & value driven ‘best practice’ solution plans.
- Value based governance layer, to focus change and align across priorities.
Strategic projects
- Self-starter, who thinks both strategically and tactically, to drive and manage projects & programs (‘do-er not dabbler’)
- Involvement across projects – visioning, planning / road mapping, executing, budgeting, stakeholder management & follow-up.
- Forward thinking and scenario planning; actively delivering own actions and following up of others
- Divide and conquer work within PMO team while remaining consistent and aligned
- Operate independently and as part of team; know when to initiate / intervene.
- Workshop / meeting design & coordination; help to carry out on the day
Communication & Tools
- Excellent presentation skills (verbal and visual), tailoring communications across the challenge / organization
- Distill themes from complexity and simplify / storyboard
- Confident & self-aware, hold own in discussions and represent the team across the organization (to senior leadership)
- Able to onboard & adopt new Tools that help envision the change
Stakeholder management
- Communicating and influencing, at all levels / across teams; ability to take stock and adapt as required depending on audience
- Values transparency and accountability, acts accordingly
Team / Mentoring / Networking
- Continuously look for opportunity to grow and develop team, build strong team culture
- Build & develop Networks across functions, business units etc plus external ‘outside /in’ best practice
- Ability to draw on network to leverage & advance initiatives
Profile :
- Project Management skillset
- 5 years of consulting-like experience and/or background at a large organization
- Strong commercial acumen & communication skills
- Fast learner, good listener – able to adapt and embrace change.
- Visual learner / communicator
- Comfortable with ambiguity, enjoys strategizing & problem solving in that context
- Optimistic outlook, can-do attitude & intrinsically motivated
- Cool under pressure, emotionally intelligent, resilient & able to take & share responsibility
- Anticipate 25% global travel
The salary range for this position is $113,900 to $205,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
