Job Overview: As an HR Business Partner focusing on Training, Benefits Administration, Leave Management, and New Employee Onboarding, you will support the organization's talent management and employee experience initiatives. In this multifaceted role, you will oversee training and leadership development programs, coordinate benefits administration and leave policies, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. By aligning these functions with the organization's strategic objectives, you will contribute to developing a skilled, engaged, and high-performing workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
- Training and Leadership Development:
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programs to address skill gaps and support employee development needs.
- Collaborate with department heads and managers to identify training priorities and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops, leveraging various instructional techniques and technologies to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Provide coaching and support to managers to enhance leadership skills and drive employee engagement.
- Benefits Administration:
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and assist employees with enrollment, changes, and claims resolution.
- Coordinate with benefits providers and brokers to ensure the efficient delivery of benefits services and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Leave Management:
- Manage employee leave requests, including FMLA, disability, vacation, and sick leave.
- Ensure compliance with leave policies and regulatory requirements and maintain accurate leave records.
- Guide employees and managers on leave entitlements, eligibility criteria, and documentation requirements.
- New Employee Onboarding:
- Develop and implement comprehensive onboarding programs to welcome and integrate new employees.
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including orientation sessions, completion of paperwork, and introduction to company policies and culture.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires and facilitate their early success in the organization.
- HR Business Partnering:
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders on HR-related matters, including performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Partner with managers to address employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and resolve conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify opportunities for improvement and develop proactive strategies to support organizational goals.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive HR experience, focusing on training, benefits administration, leave management, and employee onboarding.
- Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and MS Office suite.
- Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
