Sigma Healthcare Team is currently looking for an Echo Technologist to work onsite in Hamilton, MT.
EMR Used: Cerner
Shift : Days, M-F
Summary:
Performs comprehensive echocardiographic examinations in accordance with physician orders, department/hospital policies and procedures within the scope of care outlined by outside regulatory agencies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
Good motivational and organizational skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to analyze and synthesize data.
Ability to calculate, manipulate, and interpret numbers. Problem solving, critical thinking, and reasoning skills necessary.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities :
Performs echocardiograms. Responsible for daily operations of the department including patient care, team communications and documentation.
Ensures that all necessary supplies/equipment are available and remains adequately trained in current technology.
Maintains equipment in the proper working order. Follows departmental policies and procedures.
Participates in the operations of the department, to include interviewing, orientation, education, competency, scheduling and performance improvements.
Minimum Requirements:
Certifications:
RDCS, CCI Registry, RCS,BLS/BCLS certifications required.
BLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client.
Cerner experience preferred.
