POSITION SUMMARY
Supervise SAP activities including but not limited to coordinating activities of workers; provides production and SAP reports for process improvement; collaborate with internal departments to ensure and execute achievable production schedules; manage SAP processes at the facility.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Set up SAP configuration; record finished production in SAP for sales/distribution including but not limited to reviewing production requirements and PO’s; plan and develop production schedules in SAP including but not limited to preparation of product line; generate, review and process purchase orders.
- Analyze and review SAP activities; communicate limitations, and time & effort required for SAP planning, execution, and clean up for facility SAP transactions; communicate variances to plant leadership
- Review production inventory and ensures raw materials requirements are available ; tracks and schedule production materials (i.e. dry materials, supply and packaging materials) using SAP; implement scheduling changes due to backlogs, design changes, machine downtime or material/labor shortages
- Communicate raw material transfers and orders with internal accounting department
- Train new employees; evaluate and provide feedback on employee performance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- HS Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Three (3) years’ manufacturing experience
License/Certifications
- N/A
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year leadership experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITITES (KSA’s)
- Proficient with Microsoft office, including skills with Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience in SAP, Production Execution module
- The ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor and work well independently and within a team environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in manufacturing, planning and scheduling
- Experience with food manufacturing
ENVIRONMENTAL/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, holidays, 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd shifts
- Ability to work in temperature conditions between 35- and 95-degrees Fahrenheit; may occasionally exceed 95 degrees Fahrenheit
- Able to travel up to 10% of the time
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers in a repetitive motion. Frequently required to stand, walk and reach above the head. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl and talk or hear. The employee is required to lift a minimum of ten (10) lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office levels to loud factory / warehouse levels.
- Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
