Title: Accounts Receivable Collections Manager

Reports to: Director of Billing & Collections
Location: Omaha, NE
Travel Required: Attend annual convention and seminars, less than 10%
Compensation: $65k-$90k, based on experience, quarterly bonus, and Long-Term Incentive
Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Make an impact by designing and managing your own collections process to support our 150 franchises. Develop a strategic approach to handling a large, diverse, nationwide customer base.

What You Will Do in This Role:
- Establish processes and procedures for collections
- Provide a strategic approach to managing collections
- Administer the collections processes for Franchisee accounts including follow-up on overdue accounts
- Responsible for managing the collection efforts for appropriate accounts. Establish a process to initiate reminders to accounts currently due, make systematic collection follow-ups on past due accounts, and make notations in AR system on any significant customer comments, agreement, and updates
- Accountable for reducing DSO and AR Over 90 days
- Maintain contact with internal customers to address customer payment issues
- Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and franchise owners
- Meet defined department goals and activity metrics
- Manage relationship and accounts with our 3rd party collection agency
- Aid Director of Billing and Collections with specific projects and problem resolution as needed

Qualifications/Knowledge:
- 5 years of collections experience with a medium to large company, franchising experience preferred
- Associates Degree or equivalent in experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and other relevant computer applications
- Experience with Sage preferred, but not required
- Willing to contribute to a “Championship Culture” of teamwork, passion, and collaboration

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail as well as ensuring all issues are addressed and resolved on a timely basis

- Provide the highest level of customer service and support to franchise owners; and promote a sense of urgency toward business-critical issues
- Strategic mindset with the ability to plan ahead, prioritize and manage competing priorities

The Office Environment:
As part of the company, you can expect to work in a standard office setting where there is a positive team atmosphere. Our office is a collaborative space where cross-department projects are frequent. Occasional overtime may be required as business needs dictate. You will have exposure to moderate noise levels and on occasion outside weather conditions (walking between buildings, networking events).
