We are currently seeking a talented Data Analyst II. This role works with Client Services staff to process data changes upon request.  The Data Analyst II is also responsible for delivering data transfers when needed, demonstrating high attention to details to ensure that data updates they conduct, as well as data transfers they output and deliver to our clients, are of the utmost quality.

 

As part of our team, your responsibilities will be:

  • Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work.
  • Responsible for executing data changes per request, either through backend database scripts or with the use of validated in-house Data Solution Tools.
  • Create and executes Data Change Guides (DCGs) and determines corresponding risk/impact assessments.
  • Create DTS packages for imports into study databases.
  • Write and executes SQL queries against MS SQL Database to extract data for Data Transfers and Reports.
  • May be called upon to execute SAS queries against MS SQL Database to extract data for Data Transfers and Reports.
  • Deliver client-requested database transfer datasets upon request.
  • Participate in meetings with appropriate Client Services and Technical Delivery team members as it relates to study implementation and maintenance.
  • Follow Bracket Standard Operating Procedures for data change management, data transfer verification and risk/impact assessment documentation.
  • Create stored procedures to manipulate data for data-driven changes to IXR system functionality if needed.
  • Monitor data collected across multiple databases when required.
  • May be called upon to verify data change requests.
  • May be called upon to verify content of client-requested database transfer datasets per approved Data Transfer specifications.
  • Follow Bracket Standard Operating Procedures for data change management, data transfer verification and risk/impact assessment documentation.
  • Some data entry of data change requests may be required.
  • Participate in special data-related projects as needed.

 

What You Bring:

Education

  • 2-4 years of experience working in a data-driven environment.
  • In-depth working knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), as well as Microsoft Windows 2000/2003/XP/7 and the suite of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with standard data mining and data presentation techniques.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced work environment with minimal direct supervision.

  • Must have excellent written communication skills, including the ability to effectively document procedures, processes and results.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills, as interaction with team members occurs daily.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines & multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrate extreme attention to detail and organization in all aspects of work.
  • Must have very strong skills with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be comfortable working with business users and technical teams.
  • Ability to create and execute SQL Queries is required.

 

We’d be thrilled to hear that you also have:

  • Familiarity with C# programming language.
  • Working knowledge of Visual Basic.
  • Familiarity with GCP and 21 CFR Part 11.
