ACH / Wire Transfer Manager

Summary/Objective

Effectively manage all aspects of ACH and wire transfer services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Coordinates, controls, plans and directs staff and systems in the wire services and ACH function. Monitors transfer and preparation of incoming and outgoing domestic and international wire transfers, including approval of wire transfers. Oversees unusual funds transfer request processing.
2. Manage staff of full and/or part time employees including workflow, performance reviews and one-on-one meetings. Maintain proper staffing levels.
3. Oversees cash reserve functions of the Bank to ensure base balances are adequate. Communicate with the Accounting area and Management team regarding funding levels.
4. Responsible for mitigating risk of fraud in both wire and ACH transactions.
5. Maintains professional expertise and understanding of Federal Reserve account regulations, technological developments in electronic digital transfer of information and security encryption.
6. Responsible for maintaining appropriate Disaster Recovery Plans for wire and ACH processing.
7. Provide continuing education and training for staff, including but not limited to: testing and training for all software upgrades and bank policies and procedures (i.e., Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity, etc.).
8. Responsible for Project Management for ACH and wire transfer services, including project assignments and status reports to management.
9. Serves as the back-up to Online Banking management.
10. Attend and participate in the following bank committees:
    1. Member - ACH Review Committee
    2. Member - Business Continuity Management Committee
