What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Help Desk position at SignWarehouse?
We are looking for an Internal Help desk technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on computer systems. You will answer queries on basic technical issues and offer advice to solve them. An excellent Help desk technician must have good computer knowledge and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the first point of contact for our staff seeking technical assistance
· Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques
· Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided
· Walk our staff through the problem-solving process
· Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
· Follow-up and update case status and information
· Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team
· Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures
· Servicing and Installation of desktops printers and PCs
· Assist with repairs and maintenance of desktop computers and telephone equipment as needed
· Responsible for responding to, documenting and resolving service tickets in a timely manner
· Perform workstation hardware diagnostics and repairs
· Configure, network and share printers
· Troubleshoot user profile issues
· Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
