Broad Function and Purpose of Position:
Coordinate project and customer inputs to ensure on-time delivery of prototype and pre-launch materials. Establish good working relationships with internal departments to manage customer requirements and inventory supply. Answer program management and customer needs, including portals for advanced product supply planning. Manage SAP specialist role and prototype technician as supporting functions to the development process. Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinate project and customer inputs to ensure on-time delivery of prototype and pre-launch materials. Establish good working relationships with internal departments to manage customer requirements and inventory supply. Answer program management and customer needs, including portals for advanced product supply planning. Manage SAP specialist role and prototype technician as supporting functions to the development process.
- Establish and maintain project timelines with respect to material deliveries with program management.
- Ensure prototype and pre-launch part development planning will meet customer timing.
- Work with SAP specialists, factory launch team and logistics on a daily basis to maintain planning and advise issues in a timely manner.
- Coordinate material inventories at multiple locations with the support prototype technician.
- Establish good working relationships with customers, Sika program management, Sika customer service and factory team members to maintain efficient planning of delivery requirements without compromising processes or quality.
- Reply to customer order and planning portals at required frequencies and coordinate internal actions to meet demands. Systems include, but are not limited to: Ariba, EPNS, TPROMS, eSupplier Connect, PPPS, Basecamp, GPIRS, eDDL/CMS, etc.
- Work-in and coordinate requirements (EDI, emails, faxes, PO’s, etc.) in SAP as needed.
- Track orders and resolve logistic issues as needed.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by your supervisor.
