We are looking for help on Wednesdays at the front desk.

Our practice is growing and we are in need of help on Wednesdays to start, with the potential to increase to more days. We are an integrative medicine clinic and the ideal candidate has a strong interest in health and wellness. We offer an array of health and wellness services and the ideal candidate has an interest in educating patients about our services.

The job entails:

  • Customer service: answer phone lines courteously, triage calls and schedule appointments
  • Registration: collect, maintain and update patient demographics
  • Financial: collect, verify and maintain patient insurance information, including authorizations and referrals.
  • Collect co- pays, deductible, co-insurance and balances on accounts. End of day balancing. Experience with insurance authorization is desired.
  • Check in and checkout patients in office while multitasking with other duties.
  • Communication: triage and manage electronic communication daily. Handle incoming faxes and emails
  • Must have experience with Electronic health records (EHR)
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Use of Microsoft Office products
  • Must be friendly, courteous and able to multitask on phone, computer, and with patient interactions
  • Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Vero Beach, FL 32960: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
