Career Opportunity:
Silgan Dispensing Systems is looking for a Recruiter to attract and to hire great new SDS team members for their Grandview facility. Our ideal candidate is someone who can collaborate with managers to identify current needs, draft job descriptions and postings, source and recruit candidates using internal referrals, databases, social media, etc. Our candidate is a strong communicator, relationship builder and researcher with keen intellect and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles in plant the Grandview, MO.
- Work and form relationships with internal management teams to know the ins and outs of their departments and to better understand their hiring needs and job specifications.
- Stay on top of employment trends, current job boards, and develop recruiting strategies to fit the new world of work in manufacturing and to attract and retain the best talent for our future.
- Partner with key business and HR leads to develop a branded, marketing approach that reflects the total value of employment with SDS and helps to build a diverse, modern and multi-talented workforce.
- Develop and internalize metrics that ensure great results and exceptional candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- BA or BS degree in business, HR or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of related HR or Recruiting experience
- Demonstrated skills in interviewing candidates and developing insights into behavioral competencies and skills
- Driven to excel with a focus on creating great service and results
- Tech savvy, interested in automated delivery of services and the power and efficiency of systems, Workday experience is a plus
- Able to work in an environment where demand can come from multiple sources and skilled in communicating and managing deadlines and priorities with appropriate urgency
- Professional and service-oriented with a focus on problem solving, not problem identification
- Interested in moving the needle on diversity metrics
Salary : $54,600 - $69,200
