Job Overview:
We are a small animal hospital looking to add a Veterinary Receptionist to our team! The ideal candidate would be professional in person and via phone, have the ability to multi-task in a busy environment and be an overall team player. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and assisting with various administrative tasks. Being comfortable around animals is required due to the nature of the job.

Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner
- Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and address client inquiries
- Collect and update patient information in the electronic medical records system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room
- Process payments for services rendered

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Proficiency in computer systems and experience with electronic medical records software is a plus
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Must have a genuine love for animals and a passion for providing exceptional care

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Expected hours: 30 – 32 per week
